My dog bracelet has a story behind it. Not just because the silver charms that dangle and tinkle so pleasantly remind me of all the small breeds I have kept throughout the years. It goes back further than that, to when I got my first dog, a large German Shepherd. She and I were inseparable throughout my childhood. So of course, that was the first dog jewelry I ever bought.

It means lot to me, and if I ever lose this silver bracelet, I will be lost.

I am thinking of adding some cat pendants to my general animal jewelry collection. Wouldn’t that surprise all my friends? But honestly, I really love cats too. And they look so dignified in a silver charm or necklace. I hate to leave out one of the most popular and beautiful of all animals! And come to think of it, a gold pair of cat earrings might be a nice way to go. Well, I suppose that I can always dream! Besides, Christmas will be here again someday. And if gold jewelry is out of the question, my dog bracelet can always use a few more charms!

I have to admit, my wife initially had to talk me into purchasing this bed. For a long time our terrier Lila has been persistently squealing by our bed until we finally let her sleep with us in our bed. This was fine for awhile, but as time passed we knew we needed to provide a sufficient space for Lila to sleep alone. Towels, old pillows, doggie cages, none of them stopped her whining. However, a few nights after we brought home the Polka Dot Pink Bed Lila stopped her night whining and slept on her own. I am so grateful for the success we’ve encountered with this bed!

Why did she adapt to this bed so much better than bare pillows and our other failed solutions? It’s the commonalities this bed shares with a human bed that caused our Lila to love and accept it so much. Structurally fantastic, I know this will survive many years of use while sparing us hours of nighttime whining. Having dog-caused sleep deprivation? This was the perfect pet bed for our dog.
