Container Gardening and Raided Beds
I live on a sloped lot that has been extremely difficult to keep anything planted with the exception of grass and that too is sparse in many places. I was looking around the Internet and got a crazy idea to use raised beds to contain certain areas and terrace a section of the yard to see if it would work the way I envisioned. I have been so pleased with the results that we will be finishing the entire front yard this spring using Guarden raised bed frames to contain and terrace the rest of the area.
Having these types of garden structures has been very important in developing the look and feel to the yard that my husband and I wanted. By putting them on the different levels we made several discoveries that included find out that the water runoff in those areas is far less than it used to be, which makes me feel better knowing we are using water more efficiently. There’s no telling how much money we would have had to spend to get the same results as we did with these wonderful raised beds.
