Perfect Post Caps for the Deck
The very last thing we needed to finish off our new deck this spring was the addition of deck post caps. My wife had one idea and I had another and we looked high and low to find something that would work as a compromise. Truthfully, I didn’t think we would ever find anything because we were that far apart.
Finally, we sat down together and really thought through not only what we wanted but what was functional and reasonable for the space. What we ended up buying was not what either one of us had thought we would purchase in the beginning but we realized that having light would be something we would need on the deck. Because part of the deck was extended out from the house it just made sense to get solar post caps. This would give us the additional light but also made it easy because we wouldn’t have to install additional electrical wires, etc. to make it work. The purchase was made, the caps installed and the deck is complete. It doesn’t get any better than that!
